The firm opted for 260 gsm Sunbrella® solution-dyed acrylic fabric. Because it’s hard-wearing, water-repellent and resistant to UV rays, stains and mould, it’s ideal for protecting the subtle and exclusive colours from the Fermob metal colour chart. The Shadoo parasol is a head-turning concept that’s faithful to the values of creativity and innovation that have made Fermob a success. In terms of materials, the brand opted for aluminium for the pole and fibreglass for the ribs that hold the fabric in place – just the right balance between lightness and sturdiness, so you can set up your parasol and move it around the mood takes you!
